ECONZWIRELESS AND DIVERSINET EXECUTIVES TO DEMONSTRATE BREW
VERSIONS OF TWO-FACTOR AUTHENTICATION SECURITY AT BREW 2006
CONFERENCE
NEWPORT BEACH, CALIF and TORONTO, CANADA - June 01, 2006 - ECONZ
Wireless, a leading global developer ofmobile software solutions for business and consumer
markets, and Diversinet Corp. (OTCBB: DVNTF), a leading provider of mobile-enabled
personal authentication and security solutions, today announced they will be demonstrating
BREW® versions of mobile-enabled two-factor authentication at BREW 2006. ECONZ
Wireless and Diversinet will showcase their products at booth #23 at the BREW 2006
Conference, being held May 31 - June 2 in San Diego.
"BREW 2006 is the ideal event for ECONZ Wireless to demonstrate our mobile security
solutions to mobile network operators and BREW developers," said Michael Hartley CEO,
ECONZ Wireless. "We are excited about our partnership with Diversinet and the opportunity to
bring two-factor authentication to BREW handsets and applications. We believe this will allow
BREW operators and developers to deliver cost-effective and extra-secure applications in
markets where identity, age and location concerns previously made this difficult."
"A broad range of mobile consumer and business applications such as mobile e-commerce,
mobile banking and business applications require developers to think about ways they can
provide additional security features to make consumers feel comfortable," said Sachin
Deshpande, head of developer relations for QUALCOMM Internet Services. "Mobile soft
tokens can provide a two-factor authentication solution that can complement the robust security
capabilities offered by the BREW solution."
Earlier this month, ECONZ Wireless and Diversinet announced a technology partnership that
allows ECONZ Wireless to integrate and extend the Diversinet MobiSecure client into current
and future ECONZ Wireless applications for sale worldwide through the company's mobile
operator partners. The two companies are also developing a BREW extension for two-factor
authentication with location-based services (LBS). This extension will allow developers of
BREW applications to bring a new level of security and user authentication for their LBS
products.
The BREW solution drives the discovery and delivery of data services. BREW customers can
benefit from several offerings which include: uiOneT for rich, integrated and dynamic user
experiences with fast access to high revenue services on wireless devices; deliveryOneT for
differentiated and tightly integrated, operator-managed support and delivery of advanced
wireless data content and services; and marketOneT for a quick-to-market, hosted, scalable
content delivery service that includes media titles, flexible management and monetization,
content provider settlement and business intelligence services. QUALCOMM offers this
comprehensive set of BREW offerings to meet the distinct needs of companies delivering mobile
products and services around the world.
